How the ladder works

PLAY ON YOURTERMS.

A tennis ladder is a ranking system where players are ordered by results, not a fixed weekly schedule.

01

Get placed

Players are placed on a ranked ladder based on level.

02

Challenge

Challenge opponents within 5 spots of your rank in your division.

03

Play

Schedule matches directly with your opponent.

04

Move up

Win and climb the ladder.

  • Each division operates as its own ladder.
  • Players can challenge up within their division (up to 5 spots).

Top 16 players in each division qualify for playoffs. Finals are held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on the last Sunday in October.
